Keeping An Eye On Gum Infection Symptoms

Any discomfort and difference in color notice with your oral health is an indication of gum infection or gum disease. Gum disease can be unrecognizable especially at its early phase for it is painless. More often gum infection is being neglected by a lot of people for pain is not felt.

The most common and obvious symptom of gum infection are red, swollen and tender gums. Gum infection is being cause primarily by bacteria. When bacteria is allowed to live int eh mouth with poor oral hygiene , gum infection can spread below the gum line affecting the tissues and the bones that supports the teeth and damaging them resulting to advance periodontal disease and eventually tooth loss. Being observant and keeping an eye with the symptoms of gum infection is one way of preventing the condition at its early stage.
